Beppu in November

The autumn colour on Mt. Tsurumi reaches the lower slopes this month. The ropeway ride takes about ten minutes and spreads red and yellow hillsides below you. Few wet days make it good for walking, but mornings and evenings are cold, so a thin down jacket is handy.
