Bali weather by month
2006-2025, 20 years of records · Not a forecast Rain not yet station-calibrated
Bali has a clear dry and wet season. The dry season runs roughly from May or June to September or October, and the wet season from November to around April. Plan spas and cafes for the wet months, and beaches and surfing for the dry ones.
Peak season is July to August and the year-end holidays, when prices climb and the Jimbaran, Seminyak and Canggu areas get crowded. Many holidays follow Hindu calendars, so days like Nyepi and Galungan shift from year to year. Decide first whether your trip is about the surf beaches or Ubud.
July to September gave the best mix of comfortable warmth and few rain days in Bali. To dodge the rain, August (11 rain days) was the stretch to look at, not March (29).
